FDC 5wide 5kW multi-fuel defra approved stove

The FDC 5wide is a stove that started something of a trend. Namely, wide 5kW stoves. Not much has as much glass as the 5wide.

The very first FDC 5wide we fitted was as a wedding present, it was chosen because FDC couldn't supply Firefox at the time. Since we haven't looked back and ceased selling Firefox and now stock the entire FDC range.

Like the rest of the FDC range it is a steel box with a cast iron door.  FDC are the company that we've had our longest relationship with and over this time we've never had to return one of their stoves under warranty.

The 5wide has a riddling grate and moulded clay fire bricks as standard. FDC prohibit internet pricing so please call for a price but rest assured they are very good value.

FDC are a British company based near Salisbury and formed in 1997. Their stoves are efficient, robust and affordable. They are both HETAS and DEFRA approved for use in smoke control areas and all come with a 5 year warranty.
