STOVE REFINISHING
Any cast iron stove door can be removed, stripped, polished and lacquered in high temperature lacquer to create a finish like no other.
Imperfections in the castings are exposed giving the door an antique look that gently turns gold and blue with exposure to heat.

In addition we can repaint old or tired stoves either renewing the existing colour or changing the colour to one you find agreeable.
This is a usually a bare metal treatment and rust spots and blemishes can be removed at the same time. The stove is finished in Calfire or Thermacure high heat paint. The stove needs to be removed for this process to be completed, it usually take 3-4 days.

Cracks in castings can sometimes be rectified also but need to be priced on inspection.
