ADURO 16 5kW wood only ecodesign 2022 defra approved stove

Danish stove company Aduro thought about the UK when they created the Aduro 16. Firstly they sized it for a standard UK fireplace, they passed it for smoke control areas such as Brighton & Hove and fitted it with a 5" outlet (allowing it to operate on a smaller, less expensive liner).

As you might expect from a Danish manufacturer it is styled for a modern home with a curved glass front. It is unusual in that it is also a convection stove, it has hollows in its body to convect warm air. Most convection stoves heat up faster than traditional conduction stoves.

The Aduro 16 also has a unique automatic control called the Adurotronic which promises up to 40% reduction in wood use.

Aduro offer the stove with a 5 year warranty with their stove and it is all steel construction with outputs from 2-7kW.

The Stove Industry Alliance believes that an ecodesign stove such as the Aduro 16 will require about 5 logs to produce 4kWh of heat over a 5 hour period.
