EKOL CLARITY 5kW multi-fuel ecodesign 2022 defra approved stove

The Ekol Clarity 5 does a lot of things for not a huge expense. Firstly it suitable for smoke control areas (such as Brighton & Hove), it is passed to the new ecodesign 2022 emissions standard so it is clean, very clean. It is multi-fuel so can achieve something close to a three hour burn on coal or smokeless fuels. It is controllable with outputs from 1-5kW, efficient achieving 78.9% and it has a 5 year warranty.

Excellent airwash, available in standard (pictured) or tall versions also with 5" outlet so it keeps the cost of the liner down. Fabricated steel box with a cast iron door, collar and throat plate. The MK II stoves allow for easy sweeping through the appliance and the early stoves can be retro fitted to also allow this.

The Stove Industry Alliance believes that an ecodesign stove such as the Clarity will require about 5 logs to produce 4kWh of heat over a 5 hour period.
