EKOL CRYSTAL 8kW multi-fuel ecodesign 2022 defra approved stove

Ekol's Crystal 8kW stove can burn with a full load of wood for over 90 minutes, with coal around 3 hours. Weighing in at 91kgs it will stay warm for longer than most other 8kW stoves.

The Crystal range is all cast iron, made the way stoves have been made for decades maybe even centuries. It has the advantage that they hold their heat longer with more mass than a steel stove, it also accounts for the stove's traditional styling. The Crystal range have an excellent air wash, riddling grate and three air controls. They are natively multi-fuel.

The Stove Industry Alliance believes that an ecodesign stove such as the Crystal will require about 5 logs to produce 4kWh of heat over a 5 hour period.
